Snow!

We got a bit of snow here. This is a nice departure from eight years in the tropics, at least for this Hoosier.

This was the view out my office window this morning:

We got a foot or more of snow overnight. It started yesterday evening and things took a turn fast. Marie called me around 3p to see how conditions were close to the house. I happened to be out running errands at the time and told her it wasn’t bad. Then I decided to check Barbur Ave., and it was already getting slippery. She decided to leave early and it took her 2 hours to get home. It normally takes 20 minutes.

These are pictures of the backyard. The snow is wet and heavy and pulling the bushes over. I’ll need to brush off that snow!

This will be a lot of water once it melts!
