A New Love

I have a new love and it’s the Hawker Stalls.

A Hawker Stall is where you get street food in Singapore. I ventured to one of the more popular ones today; the Zion Riverside Food Centre.

I had some pork innard soup and a lime drink. The lime drink is basically freshly-squeezed cane and lime juice and is very good, if not a bit sweet.

Before our trip, I read online about seat chopping and this was the first time I’ve seen it in practice. You chop a seat by leaving a pack of tissues where you want to sit. From what I’ve read, it’s well respected…once you mark your spot, it’s yours.
